There is always something interesting going on behind the scenes of every story. You might be too busy to think about that in the moment. And it might not be special to you now. But that’s why it’s important to capture it.

My father was taking pictures and filming all the time when I was growing up, and cameras have always been a part of my life. It’s amazing to see those pictures after 30 years, and I appreciate them a lot more today.

It was only natural that I wound up in photography. I always enjoyed taking pictures. In 2010, when I moved to Montréal, Canada, it became more than a hobby. Everything was new, and I wanted to capture it all.
